The Akupara Institute was founded to answer one question, "How can government be more effective in its approach to evaluating and awarding tech contracts?".

As the size of the government contracting workforce grows in relation to the number of official government employees, the processes by which government evaluates and awards contracts will have increasingly large impacts on the quality of public services and projects.

Here at Akupara, we are working hard to synthesize and publish information that will contribute to the discussion about contracting policy, raise awareness for the issues, and make a positive impact on how government spending is managed.
